Mohair Boucle Yarn for Doll Hair EN71-3 compliant

A wonderful mohair boucle yarn from De Witte Engel which is perfect for knitting or crocheting the loveliest of doll wigs (great for many other yarn crafts too!). The yarn has been created particularly for creating Waldorf and Steiner dolls but can be used on any other doll too!
Available in 7 very natural colours, the lustrous, heavy-weight, loose boucle makes either a gorgeous curly short hair style or a curly long head of curls too.

This mohair boucle yarn is made up of 64% mohair, 27% wool and 9% nylon and is supplied in 50 gram (approximately 45m in length) and conforms to the EN71-3 (2019) + A1 (2021) standards.

The mohair boucle yarn is available in the following colours:  Orange, Golden Blonde, Cream, Black, Brown, Red Brown and Light Brown.  We also stock a shade chart with a snippet of each of the shades we stock.

The shades have been made to complement the Doll Jersey (that we also stock) to give some lovely, different doll looks.

On the inside of the wrapper there is a pattern for knitting a simple doll wig which you can see in the product photos.

The recommended needle size is 5 or 6 (8-10 US)

The recommended crochet hook size is 4mm or 5mm (G-H US)
