Gutermann Top Stitch – Shade 139

Gutermann Top Stitch thread is a strong and heavy thread made from polyester. This thread is often used  for button-holing and button sewing, Top Stitch is also great for many aspects of toy making.  In particular it is good for inserting glass eyes into soft toys and, if using joints in your creation, its strength makes it good for sewing around a neck joint if it needs to be pulled in tightly and securely.  It is also good for any hand stitching where extra strength is needed.

Shade 139 is a light brown colour, similar to milk chocolate!

This 30m reel of thread is also machine washable at 40°C
