Mill Hill is the leading brand of glass beads and are great to use for tiny eyes in needle felted or other hand crafted teddy bears, rabbits, mice, robins and other creations.  The colour of these beads is called Sable which is a chestnut brown with a slight touch of deep red.

You can use Extra Srong Thread to attach the beads as eyes (through the hole in the middle). If you are unsure how to insert beads for eyes our  How to do it…. page might be of help.  Although the video shows how to insert glass eyes, the principle is the same for beads and needle felted projects.

Mill Hill beads are renowned for their uniformity of colour and shape which is appreciated by many types of crafters and are small, almost round in shape.

• Size: 11 / 2.5mm (Beads are measured across at the widest point on the outside of the bead).
• Suitable for use on: 14 count Aida and 28 count even weave fabric.
• Packet size:  4.0g (each pack will contain approximately 300 beads (150 pairs of eyes!).

The beads are also perfect for jewellery making, embroidery, beading and other crafts.
