Toy Safety Noses – Cat Triangular Plastic Noses for Toys 6mm – 18mm

A pack of toy safety noses that are black and triangular for making toy cats and other soft toys.  These black noses are triangular in shape and particularly suitable for creating a cat nose.  The noses come in sizes ranging from a tiny 6mm to 18mm and are made from black plastic and are available as a single nose, packs of 5 or packs of 10.  Plastic safety noses are suitable for stitched, knitted and crocheted toys.  These noses conform to EN71-3 and REACH standards (if you need documentation, please email us at info@amazingcraft.co.uk )

The noses are available in the sizes shown below.  The nose size relates to the width at the widest part and the other measurement is the height at the widest part (eg the 6mm nose measures 6mm across the nose and 4.5mm from top to the bottom of the nose).

The nose has a ridged ‘pin’ on the back that is inserted through the fabric (before stuffing the head).  The plastic or metal back  is inserted onto the ‘pin’ on the inside of the fabric that holds the nose firmly in place.

The backs have to be a very tight fit to ensure the nose cannot be pulled off from the toy.  Because of this, we also stock a Safety Eye Insertion Tool that helps push the backs onto the noses which is particularly helpful for those that have weakness in their hands or fingers.  It can also help if the plastic back is immersed in boiling water for a minute prior to insertion.
