Toy Safety Joints 16mm – 65mm for Teddy Bears / Dolls / Toys EN71-3 & REACH

Our toy safety joints give teddy bears, dolls or soft toy creations to have moving arms, legs and head.  All of our safety joints conform to British Toy Regulation Safety Standard EN71-3 and REACH.  They are available in packs of:

• 1 (1 pins, 1 disk and 1 washer) which would be enough for one single joint (eg one head)
• 5 (5 pins, 5 disks and 10 washers) which would be enough to joint 1 standard toy
• 10 (10 pins, 10 disks and 10 washers) which would be enough to joint 2 standard toys
• 25 (25 pins, 25 disks and 25 washers) which would be enough to joint 5 standard toys

Each joints is made up of three pieces:  one plastic disk with a ridged pin (which sits on one side of the joint) and a plastic washer and locking disk which goes over the pin and holds the joint in place.

Because the joints need to be firmly secured, it is a tight fit to attach the locking disk and you need a bit of strength to push it on!  If you are struggling, two things that can help with this are a Safety Eye Insertion Tool or by soaking the joint in hot water for a minute before inserting.
